In the darkness of the night begins the ascent to 1717 m high Batur Volcano. At sunrise overwhelming view to the "Gunung Rinjani is possible on a clear day, the 3,726 meter high volcano on the neighboring island of Lombok. After a light breakfast and hot beverages walk to the sandy slopes near the volcano back to the car.
